PEACE: A FUNDAMENTAL, UNIVERSAL RIGHT OF MANKIND THAT KNOWS NO FRONTIERS
“Both peace and living in peace are fundamental, universal, priority, urgent and non – negotiable rights for mankind.
Peace is the pentagram upon which it is possible to agree to and harmonize all human rights. Without a commitment to peace, we will never be able to enjoy real justice, social equity or spaces for dialogue.
We conceive peace as the only valid, just matrix that is capable of sheltering, saving and guaranteeing the good order and dignity of all the rights that are basic and common to all of mankind.
Without peace, there is no future. It is not a warning, nor a threat. It is an axiom.
Consequently, the right to peace and to live in peace awards and grants us the privilege to coexist without fear.
Coexistence itself is an art. It consists of wanting to make concessions and in knowing how to agree so that all lawful difference, divergence or diversity coexist and reduce the distances both in the human and ideological fields, allotting them to touch the limit of the frontier, without creating any conflict.
To do this, we lace commitment, effort, dialogue, will and volunteers.
It is for this reason that ask that the “right to peace” and the “right to live in peace” be included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as well as in the United Nations Charter and the Constitutions of all States and countries of the planet, not only as a true reassurance, but also as a real commitment, a duty to be fulfilled and a firm obligation that, beyond political respect for citizens, it is a fact.
The search for peace should involve everyone with enthusiasm and determination. Confronting the elements that offend or lacerate is everyone’s responsibility, everyone. Peace is a temple that does not admit victors nor vanquished.
“Peace without Frontiers” is a project that defends the natural right to peace without limits, without frontiers because we understand peace as the pillar of all human rights, and that without peace, there are no rights.
